Google will today start displaying links to streaming services when iOS users search for music or video content, a feature that was previously only available on Android. More specifically, for video content, the quick links to streaming services will surface from within the TV show, TV episode, and movie Knowledge Panels. Google notes that it will also display pricing info when available for the various streaming services. For audio, the links to music streaming services like Apple Music will appear in Knowledge Panels for artists....

After spending about a month and a half in the beta channel, Chrome is rolling out Google Now notifications to all users. To activate the feature, Google says to sign in with the same Google account used on iOS. Users can find their cards through the Google Chrome Notifications window. Between 2019 and 2021, Project Zero researchers reported 376 issues to vendors under their 90-day deadline. Of those 376 issues, more than 93% of these bugs have been fixed and over 3% have been marked as “WontFix” by the vendors, according to Project Zero. The researchers added that 11 other bugs remain unfixed and 8 have passed their deadline to be fixed. Google today announced two big features for its mapping service on Apple platforms. Facebook may face action from Germany’s antitrust watchdog. According to Reuters, the German antitrust watchdog is planning to order Facebook to stop gathering “some” user data. The Federal Cartel Office, which is Germany’s national competition regulator, has been investigating Facebook for the last 4 years. The office is accusing Facebook of using its market dominance to collect data from its users without their knowledge or consent.
