Google One Cloud Storage Plans for the new Google One storage start at $1.99 per month for 100 GB of storage, $2.99 per month for 200 GB, and $9.99 per month for 2 TB of space which is $10 cheaper than the current offering. The company also offers plans of up to 30 TB of space, but those higher tiers won’t see any changes in price. It’s also worth noting that there won’t be any changes for subscribers to G Suite business accounts....

Google has finally launched a full-fledged iOS app for users of its AdWords advertising service. The AdWords app arrives today as the first official iOS app for the service and it’s available for both iPhone and iPad users now. The app lets AdWords customers view their campaign stats– like clicks, CTR, CPC, etc– as well as manage bids and budgets, contact Google experts for support, and get real-time notifications for updates on their active campaigns....

In anticipation of a launch of the Photovine service which was announced Tuesday, Google has just released a free invite-only Photovine for iOS app on the App Store and posted the cutesy teaser (see below) on the official Photovine page. The sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters has found another key cast member, in the form of Aisha Hinds. Legendary’s 2014 Godzilla reboot began a wave of modern-day takes on classic monster movie characters, something that continued again in Kong: Skull Island this year. Both films were met with mostly positive reviews, and they were slightly divisive in their own right as well, as Warner Bros. and Legendary work together towards a Godzilla vs Kong crossover film....

Goldman Sachs has offered up some early details on its Apple Card investments this week. In regulatory fillings, the bank indicated that thus far, it has extended $10 billion in credit lines to Apple Card customers. The filings show that of the $10 billion in credit lines, customers ended the month of September with a total of $736 million in loan balances. To offset the launch of Apple Card, Goldman halted its unsecured personal loan business....

Early last week, Apple discontinued the white plastic MacBook, which had been an education-only item since mid-2011, but is continuing to sell the product to education institutions while supplies last. The remaining supplies are being sold for $899, and sources say that Apple’s white MacBook inventory for educational institutions is still rather high. While white MacBooks for education are a thing of the past, Apple is not giving up on education: they are launching two new MacBook Airs for schools programs today....

One day before Apple’s big iPad event tomorrow, Google has just unveiled its latest Nexus devices alongside official announcements for Android 5.0 Lollipop and more. With Apple expected to launch new iPad Air and possibly iPad mini models tomorrow, Google today announced the Nexus 9, an 8.9-inch HTC-made tablet with brushed metal bezels and a gold (Best!, duh) color option not unlike that expected for the new iPad Air tomorrow. The tablet also features a keyboard folio that attaches magnetically to the device....

Google has just rolled out a nice update to its recently released Hangouts app for iOS. Version 1.1.1 of the app now includes the ability to send and click on URLs within the app, support for inviting friends to Hangouts via SMS, and much more. Also included in the updated app is official support for iOS 6.0, new in-app sounds for when you receive a message, and other improvements and performance enhancements....

Google is rolling out an update to its Keep note-taking app that brings new auto-created topics that group notes together for automatic organization and easy searching. Google notes that the feature will “automagically” create topics for things like places, books, travel, food and quotes. And you can use the new auto-create topics to search for all notes that might apply within the automatically created categories. When you hit the search bar, you’ll now find quick shortcuts to the new topics located next to other search filters for things like file type, people and colors....
