It’s been almost 25 years since Friends aired its first episode, and Google has joined in the celebration. The beloved sitcom premiered on September 22, 1994 and ran for 10 seasons. It was a huge part of NBC’s “Must See TV” block on Thursday nights, which also included Seinfeld, ER, and Will & Grace. Friends centered on a group of six New Yorkers in their 20s and launched the careers of its cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and Matthew Perry....

Google’s iPhone and iPad note capturing app is out with a feature update today in the latest version. Keep users can now add an app widget to the Today view in Notification Center for capturing material in the app from anywhere with a swipe down. iOS users can also add a new Keep extension using the latest update for sending websites and other information to Keep without opening it and leaving the app you’re already in....

“These storms cause the atmosphere to warm and atmospheric density at our low deployment altitudes to increase,” SpaceX explained in an update. “In fact, onboard GPS suggests the escalation speed and severity of the storm caused atmospheric drag to increase up to 50% higher than during previous launches.” In response to the storm, the Starlink team commanded the satellites into a safe mode to “take cover from the storm” so the satellites would “fly edge-on like a sheet of paper to minimise drag”, the company said....

According to one Paramount executive, the Ghost in the Shell box office returns were negatively affected by the “conversation regarding casting.” When any movie performs badly at the box office, there’s going to be a lot of discussion over why and how it happened, with studios keen to pinpoint exactly what caused the failure. In the case of Ghost in the Shell there are many reasons why it’s performing so badly - starting with the fact that many critics just don’t think it’s all that good, with its rating on Rotten Tomatoes currently standing at 45%....

Actor Gabriel Luna doesn’t believe he’s returning as Ghost Rider anytime soon. The Marvel Cinematic Universe actor has been waiting years to play the character again, and at this point doesn’t think it’s going to happen. Luna originally played the Robbie Reyes version of Marvel Comics character Ghost Rider on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The show created an entire arc centered around Ghost Rider, dedicating a third of its fourth season to the character....

Ubisoft has unveiled a new live action trailer starring rapper Lil Wayne ahead of their upcoming game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. A previous live action trailer featured actor Jon Bernthal from The Walking Dead as the game’s villain, Cole D. Walker, and Ubisoft Paris has hinted strongly that they are hoping to revolutionize the tactical shooter genre with Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s gameplay. Taking place directly after the events of the Ghost Recon Wildlands DLC missions and releasing this October 4th, Breakpoint’s story sees players assuming the role of Lieutenant Colonel Anthony “Nomad” Perryman as they investigate a series of problems related to Skell Technology, a military hardware blue chip company first appearing in Wildlands....

Warner Bros. has screened the first footage from Godzilla vs. Kong in a sizzle reel at their CCXP panel, and it shows the two Titans are now nearly the same size. The next film in the MonsterVerse, Godzilla vs Kong was delayed earlier this year, but in giving fans their first look at the upcoming battle, Warner Bros. clearly remains confidant in the property. As promised in September, Google has launched the 64-bit of the Chrome browser for Mac to the public after a few months in beta. According to Google’s original announcement, the update drops support for 32-bit extensions, requiring all developers to update with 64-bit support. The update also fixes over 40 security flaws and adds many new APIs for extension developers. Chrome uses a silent update mechanism that will automatically download and install the latest update, but if you find that you’re still on version 38 in the “About Chrome” window, you can manually download and install the update from Google....
